Ideal Software Systems, an innovator in business management systems for 30 years, is looking for a talented salesperson to support its growing markets. The Ideal candidate will work with the Executive, Development, Marketing and Support teams while creating, managing and closing sales of POS (Point Of Sale), multi-location business management products, e-commerce solutions and more for the company’s Family Entertainment and Financial Services divisions.
What You’ll Do:
Seek and cultivate sales prospects
Understand the objectives and motivation of entrepreneurs and executives making capital purchases in closely held companies
Promptly and professionally respond to, and maintain communication with prospective clients
Meet or exceed sales quotas
Move transactions through the entire sales cycle to close, including contract negotiation
What You’ll Need:
Strong prospecting, presentation and closing skills
Proven record of developing and closing new accounts
Minimum four years of proven sales success, preferably in business software sales
Degree in Business or related discipline
Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.com
Experience in a fast-moving sales environment
Strong time management, organization and decision-making skills

This position reports to the company President and is located at Ideal’s corporate headquarters in Meridian, MS; however, a remote home office may be considered for an experienced candidate with a proven track record.
