Job Title: Senior Embedded Systems Engineer - Digi Rabbit 6000 Specialist

Location: On-Site preferred Meridian, MS 39301 (Remote Optional)

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Embedded Systems Engineer with specialized expertise in the Digi Rabbit 6000 chipset. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, managing, and optimizing embedded hardware solutions utilizing the Digi Rabbit 6000 chipset as well as others. The ideal candidate will have experience leading hardware projects from start to finish while bringing in-depth knowledge of this chipset along with a strong background in embedded systems development and hardware systems engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead design and implementation of embedded systems solutions leveraging the Digi Rabbit 6000.

  • Schematic and PCBA design, optimization, and manufacturing oversight.

  • Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and validation of embedded systems and firmware.

  • Optimize firmware performance and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with software teams.

  • Lead and Project Manage development projects from start to finish.

  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to complete projects.

  • Provide escalation and training to support staff with occasional assistance with customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience (7+ years) in embedded systems development, with proven use of the Digi Rabbit 6000.

  • Strong understanding of hardware architecture and digital electronics, especially as with the Digi Rabbit 6000.

  • Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C) and wireless technologies.

  • Proven familiarity with RFID and Wi-Fi communication protocols

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
